Frequently asked questions
What Is Kinesiology?
Kinesiology is the art & science of utilising a 'muscle test response' to assess and balance energy within human psychological and physiological systems, so enhancing the health and wellness potential of the whole being.
How many sessions do I need?
This depends on the severity and length of time your problem has been an issue. Kinesiology balancing is like peeling an onion. As a layer is peeled away another one appears so it can be resolved. Many of my clients come regularly, often at least once a month. This ensures that problems that do occur get resolved quickly, with the minimum of stress, and therefore illness is unable to take a hold. These clients stay healthy, visit the doctor less often, and find they can bounce back from everyday issues that others find debilitating. However, you as the client are always in control. How many times you have a 'balance' is up to you. How often you wish to have this balance is also up to you.
What happens in a session?
In general kinesiology sessions utilise non-invasive muscle response assessments. The kinesiologist accesses the body's own bio-feedback mechanisms to assess energy imbalances in the body. Using light pressure, the kinesiologist presses on an arm or leg in a specific direction to access a specific meridian energy. This enables an assessment of that meridian's energetic status. Unbalanced energy will initiate a 'weak' response. Balanced energy will initiate a 'strong' response.
How long do sessions last and how much does a session cost?
Sessions usually last 1 to 1½ hours. At present (2018) each session costs £70.
Do you do consessional rates?
No. There are a number of reasons for this.
Do you test for, and provide supplements or other remedies?
Yes. Supplement requirements are assessed during each session. Depending on the specific requirement, certain supplements can be purchased from me directly. These supplements are endorsed by the International College of Professional Kinesiology Practice as being safe and effective food based supplements.
Can I bring my own supplements for you to assess?
Absolutely!
What about the medication I take?
I encourage you to bring any medication that you may take for any condition, however I will NEVER tell you to stop taking them......this is a private matter between you and your doctor!
